AYSA is excited to offer this opportunity for players to continue to learn
softball fundamentals, keep their skills sharp, and most important
HAVE FUN!!! Please sign up so we will have a good idea how many
players to plan on.
What is the Sandlot?
AYSA is offering the Sandlot program for players to come to the park and
have fun playing ball over the summer months.
Summer Sandlot is an open practice format, with coaches and players meeting
each week during the evening for a two hour session of warm ups, basic
drills and skill development followed by a pick up scrimmage between
participants.
Who can participate?
Girls that will play in the 7-8, 9-10, 11-12, and 13+ age groups in
the fall
Open to girls interested in softball; those that have played at North Park,
and those that have not. So bring your friends!
What are the dates/times?
In order to try to beat the heat, we will be holding the sessions from
7:00-9:00pm on the following Thursdays:

July 12, 19, 26, August 2, 9, 16, 2012
Sign up for as many sessions as you want! Come to one
or come to them all!
How much does it cost?
$5.00 per session.
A registration table will be set up at Fields 6/7 - all participants sign in
at the table. Walk ups will be accommodated on a first come, first serve
basis, based on availability.
What does the fee include?

One water or PowerAde per session

Each night we will have a surprise treat

Each participant will get one Sandlot T-Shirt
What do I need to bring?

$5.00 registration fee

Each participant will receive one water or PowerAde per
session. Please bring additional water/drink
if needed.

Glove, cleats (other equipment optional) - please have
your first and last name on your items.

Towel, if plan to participate in the slip-n-slide!
