Slow Pitch Softball -
Registration: Spring (Nov-early Jan), Fall (May-early August)

The AYSA Slow Pitch Program
offers spring and fall recreational programs for girls in the City of
Alpharetta and surrounding areas. All games are played at North Park in
Alpharetta. Each team is scheduled for two team meetings per week (one
Saturday and one weeknight).
The spring program runs from
February to May and includes age groups for girls from 4 to 18 years old.
The fall program runs from
August to November and includes age groups for girls 6 to 15 years old.
AYSA also supports a summer All
Star League, in which teams travel to other parks in the North Georgia area
for tournament competitions. |

Inter Park Fast Pitch Softball
- Registration: Spring (Nov-early Jan), Fall (May-early
August)

The AYSA Inter Park Fast Pitch
Program offers spring and fall softball programs for girls in the City of
Alpharetta and surrounding areas. Players are required to tryout for the
Inter Park teams. The number of teams fielded is dependent on pitching and
catching skills, availability of coaches, and overall skill set of the
players. Travel to other parks is required for this program: approximately
50%+ of games
are played at North Park in Alpharetta, and 50%- games are played at other parks in
the North Metro area. The 'away' games are typically played on Saturdays and
may include double-headers. Each team is scheduled for two team meetings per
week (one Saturday and one weeknight).
The spring program runs from
February to May and includes age groups for girls from 9 to 18 years old.
The fall programs runs from
August to October and includes age groups for girls 9 to 15 years old.
AYSA also supports a summer All
Star League, in which teams travel to other parks in the North Georgia area

The AYSA Travel Fast Pitch
Program offers opportunities for dedicated, committed and skilled players
from 9 to 18 years old. Tryout times for Travel Teams vary, but are often
held in November and August . Each travel team manages their own playing
schedule. Generally speaking, Travel teams practice 3 times a week and play
in 1 to 3 weekend tournaments a month. (The tournament schedule and location
is decided on by the team manager). Financial commitments generally range
from $500 - $1000 per season. Again, generally speaking, most travel teams
require each player to participate in individual, weekly lessons (hitting,
pitching, catching, conditioning, etc.). |
