  • Format: Much like the Sandlot league.  The session will start with a fundamentals evaluation, including pitching and catching skills.  After the evaluation phase, the players will be divided into two teams and play a “live’ game for further evaluation. During this phase, players will be moved around to afford the opportunity at more than one position.

  • Attendance: This is a TRYOUT, attendance is mandatory.

  • Dates/Fields:

    • See age groups above for specific dates/times. Please monitor the website for time and field changes.

Commitment/Expectations:

  • Time:

    • Families and players should consider their summer plans before committing to play for an All-Star team.  Players are expected to participate in all practices and be available for the tournaments the selected by the coach.

    • The commitment to play travel ball requires that players seek private instruction in addition to organized team practices.  This is especially true for the positions of pitcher and catcher.  Private hitting lessons are also encouraged.

    • Players will gain valuable experience through practice and tournament play against girls from different organizations who are also seeking to develop their skills and take their game to the next level.

  • Financial:

    • Each team is responsible for the team budget. Cost per player will be dependent on the number of tournaments played, but expected to run $150-$250. This fee includes: uniforms, balls, tournament fees, other miscellaneous costs.
